Francis House Center

FH logo2As of January 1, 2016, Francis House Center is a program of Next Move, delivering the same high-quality services at the same location (1422 C Street, Sacramento) as always. Combining efforts with Francis House helps eliminate redundancy in overhead costs in order to maximize our funds to provide mission services.

For more than 45 years, Francis House Center has served as a beacon of light and hope to the most vulnerable among us. It is a place where people are treated with dignity as they arrive seeking help for some of the most basic needs. We strive to provide the resources, support and inspiration to help individuals and families transform their lives from living in crisis to having long-term stability.

History

Established in 1970, Francis House Center has a long history of service to the homeless and impoverished community in Sacramento. We were originally started by the St. Francis of Assisi Church, but are non-denominational and are supported by various churches, local businesses and individuals.
